and I don't feel free.
I did everything right.
Saved.
Invested.
Played the long game.
On paper, I'm ahead.
But it still feels like I'm inside a system I didn't choose.
For a long time, I thought freedom was a number.
Then I reached a number large enough to realize the question was never about the number.
Money sitting in an account isn't the same thing as freedom.
So I'm starting something.
Building a life where income isn't tied to one place—
or one job.
No big announcement.
Just trying to figure this out in real time.
I think the goal is to make it optional.
That's a different kind of freedom.
